<p>On a monthly basis, the Eurovent Team compiles a global overview of the latest developments concerning new standardisation activities, technical regulations and legislative developments of relevance for the HVACR industry. </p>

<p>The 2021 edition of the European Environment Agency (EEA) report on fluorinated greenhouse gases (F-Gases) differs in presentation from the previous 2019 version. It contains a short 10-page summary report, accompanies by a 70-page annex and an interactive GHG-viewer.</p>

A leaked version of the revised EPBD has become available. Some of the aspects included in the proposal are a stronger focus on greenhouse gas emissions beyond energy use, and new minimum performance standards for new and existing buildings.

<p>The launch meeting of 18 February 2021 will be followed by a stakeholder meeting on 13 January 2022. A Consultation Forum has been indicated to take place in March 2022. The adoption of the reviewed regulations by the European Commission is scheduled for the second quarter of 2023.</p>

<p>The Commission has published on 25 November its decision 2021/2053 on the sectoral reference document on best environmental management practices, environmental performance indicators and benchmarks of excellence for the fabricated metal products manufacturing sector.</p>
